For FCV families it will be nice to know if they are expected to drive to Springfield to stay with FCV or if VAR will indeed be GA and the girls will seamlessly move over to VAR with the expectation that some girls will find their way to other clubs. And if BP is really going to VDA what girls will follow him there from FCV. So much is unclear right now and with the spring approaching fast, it will be fun watching the swirl continue as clubs begin seeing new faces at their practices for ID sessions.
That's a good one, girls following BP anywhere. One of the most reviled high level coaches in the area at any level.

Most of them stayed when DA imploded and GAL was created.![]()
Not really.

They will not be getting Champions League next season but will have to earn their spot BUT the FCV teams that finish up top will likely be invited as Wild Cards (just 07s and 08s) Most players will just move over but BP loyals will follow him to VDA.
FCV GA program folding due to TSJ management decisions and the lack of field availability. Keeping the United and Futsal programs.
BP is going to VDA. Some players will follow.
Announcements won't come til end of February until all the moving parts are in order. Everyone involved just wants smooth transition
Possible problem for VAR future program is going to be the younger ages. If 10s and 11s move over without losing many players, success could continue. If lose key players, it it will take time to rebuild. On the brightside, VAR can take credit for the 08 D1 recruits and spotlight the already committed 07s.

Best take yet and is probably pretty accurate. TSJFCV won't be around after this season. Writing is on the wall if you look hard enough.
You don't think they will try and keep their Springfield teams and futsal program alive?
Or partner with SYC to run their GA under the name TSJ?
I hate the sh*t-stirring on these forums, but as a parent at one of these clubs, I am picking up vibes that there may be a kernel of truth to this rumor.

Feels like it's a yearly disservice to the players. Are other markets like this? Do any other markets around the country wait until after the spring season to hold tryouts?
Not sure your point. In ECNL you cannot hold tryouts until March. When would they do it? Confused.
I'm wondering if it's too early and if they actually wait in other markets until the conclusion of the season. The march rule is isolated to the VA market.
You can always go and train with another team. In Maryland, tryouts don't start until may.
