Talk to your team manager and other parents. Ask the club about how many coaches they have and who’s coaching your team in the spring, and if they have fields for it.

We have been asking these questions to the club for two months and crickets.

The fish rots from the head. The CEO has court cases filed against him for club mismanagement and misappropriation of funds. The coaches were top-notch but now they are gone. There is complete uncertainty about the spring season and who will even be left to coach or run the program. So sad to see something that had potential be so mismanaged.

Let’s be real—AC Milan’s so-called academies are nothing more than an international branding campaign. Someone bought the naming rights, slapped the badge on some kits, and is now hoping for boatloads of cash. If you’re expecting AC Milan-level development, think again. If that were the case, they’d have top-tier staff—or at least a semi-decent one.

If you want your kid to rock a cool uniform, this might be the place for you. But if you’re looking for real player development, you better start looking elsewhere.

A lawyer and the father of a girl at McLean had no soccer experience and decided to use his law office as a front for a youth soccer money grab. He started out by hiring one of the most volatile guys around and having half day camps for $800 PLUS uniform fees. There were no league plans or a place to practice. And yet some are surprised this didn't go well....

They did compete in NCSL last fall.

Even competing in a winter league

Our team hasn't had a practice since November. But thankfully they still have enough staff onboard to process my monthly payments.
