Stellantis (formerly Jeep, Dodge) moving more production out of the USA. Will probably close Sterling Heights assembly plant and will move production to Argentina, Egypt and Mexico.

My inlaws lived in Ft Myers. The number of retired (with pensions) autoworkers in their 40's that had second homes in the Ft Myers area was pretty amazing.


I have relatives from the Midwest from middle-class non-union backgrounds, and they also have second homes in Florida. You couldn't pay me to live in FL, but I guess the weather where they're from is so cold that they really appreciate the weather in FL>
