That exactly. George Clooney is producing a doc I think for HBO Max that goes into Jordan allegedly ignoring a Michigan State gymnastics level shitshow with wrestling at Ohio State.

Not fake. It's brinkmanship to extract concessions from the future Speaker. We'll end up with McCarthy moving to the right (making more concessions to the Freedom Caucus) for the privilege of becoming Speaker of the House. Not good for the country, but it's not like there's any better viable candidate.
Not clear there are meaningful concessions to give. He’s already caved to allow a single member to seek a vote on his removal.

This is really not a good situation.
There is no imminent danger to our republic. The nation was far more destabilized after the 2020 election.
