I don't know if anyone answered the original poster's questions but if Charles predeceased Camilla, she will still be known as Queen. Probably Queen Dowager as the new consort would be Catherine.

She did not. I've seen other pictures and it's definitely a light gray. Even Diana describes it as gray in an interview she gave about seeing Camilla at the wedding

What’s funny is Charles’ choice was a better fit than his parents’ for the job. Camilla has really done a good job and really understands the role.
