The last time we had that situation, the Queen Elizabeth changed her title to that of The Queen Mother. Would Camilla keep her title Queen Consort and be known as Queen Camilla? Would she be known as The Queen Step-Mother? Something else? Has it not been decided and will be decided when and if it happens?
The Queen Mother only got that title because she has the same name of her regnant daughter. Queen Mary was known as Queen Mary even as she was alive during her son and granddaughter's ascendancy.
TLDR - She'll be known as Queen Camilla if Charles dies as King. If Charles dies as Prince of Wales, she'll be the Dowager Duchess of Cornwall. But either way they're going to toss her off in some dusty country estate and you will not see her.
If she keeps the title then no wonder the public is against her receiving the title.

Well no shit. Queen Ho is not something people are just going to 'get used to' because Charles whined about it. I look forward to the rumblings growing louder. Especially since the public just found out that this announcement has been in the works for FIVE YEARS while Charles was tut-tutting and protesting he wasn't even thinking about it the whole time.![]()

Camilla probably doesn't give a royal sh*t if she becomes the Queen Consort. The Queen and the Firm probably care because they want to introduce a commoner-- albeit one with a bit of a royal pedigree--into the line before the bog standard commoner, Kate Middleton, becomes Queen Consort to William.
Oh a blue blood posts among us! So uppity and delightful. A good sign of character to trash people over their born-in class, it’s honestly impressive.
Get over it doll. Your hurt feelings can’t resurrect Diana or make Meghan queen. I know, I know, you don’t want that at all. I look forward to your next posts.

You do understand that the Elgin Marbles were made by slave labor and the Koh--Noor diamond was mined by slave labor. Don't get all sniffy on the Brits until you see the savagery of the Greeks and Indians.
I'm part Greek and I disagree. We brought so much value to the humanity and we were never such large scale invaders like British.
