Subject: Cogat and NNAt 2021 Scores Sharing thread
Test scores are not everything. My child has test anxiety and did fairly well on the CogAt, but I think it was the GBRS that had more weight. She got into AAP with a 120 CogAt. Her GBRS and work samples from the teacher really showcased who she was and captured why she would he a good candidate for AAP. I would not worry if your child's CogAt isn't 99th percentile.

We are in Fairfax. Colvin Run
A pyramid is just the high school your family is zoned for, along with all the middle and elementary schools that feed into it. So it sounds like your pyramid is either Langley or McLean (since Colvin Run feeds both).
Those are good scores and I’d think your chances should be quite good. That said, getting into AAP is probably harder in the Langley/McLean pyramids than anywhere else in Fairfax County, so I’d still be prepared for the possibility of a denial.
