Oh none of them are the worst, they will all be great, the kids all have a blast dancing with a professional company!

Kind of ridiculous though, no? This is a professional ballet company. Every single show should be the best they can possibly produce and the only way to do that it to have a mix of the top dancers in every cast.

That kind of makes sense. I'd think you'd want to have a mix of stronger/weaker dancers in each role in each cast, but I can also see wanting to have a strong opening night.

The official stance is that they're random, but they're not. However, it ultimately doesn't matter, the kids have fun no matter what and it shouldn't be made a big deal to them.
