I have been driving 8 hours a day alone since I was 20. Once in a crazy ice storm. More than once, driving 8 hours with a day in between drives and a young child. Your husband’s trip sounds easy….

Not everyone is the same but I used to routinely drive 930 miles round trip in a day to see our daughter at college. The trip your husband is taking would be a cake walk for me.

Not an issue unless he has some medical condition that prevents him from driving long distances. Ive done that in 2/3 day weekend trips. Dh and i would drive to cape cod all the time before covid and he would do the bulk of the driving.
