IMO, it's disrespectful to be so obvious. I don't know if that's what happened here. If the other woman could tell, then it's wrong.

If my husband didn’t take note of attractive women I’d worry about him. I have an in-home business and my customers (all female) come to my house and if my husband is home he will often meet them and later say how attractive one is. If I meet a friend of his who is good looking I will often say something. I perk up when I meet an attractive guy and I’m sure my husband perks up too. We’ve been happily married 28 years FWIW

I find responses like this weird, there was a post a year ago or so, where someone mentioned the men they knew getting flustered and flirty around a certain woman. In that thread, the (hypothetical) woman was called a whore and home wrecker. DCUM is confusing....

I comment on celebrities I think are handsome, but not regular men or neighbors. That would be rude IMO. DH knows that's why I watch John Wick movies, or Bullitt more than once. It doesn't make him less attractive to me. I know certain women appeal to him also.

How is it rude to mention it to one another? It’s like saying an actress is beautiful. Not to their face/in person, dummy.

Not hitting on someone, just peppier.

Everyone does this. I see women get flustered and blush and treat my spouse differently because he is drop dead gorgeous.

Anyone that is considered hot has this happen in checkout lines, at the gym, restaurants, etc. I get flirted with all of the time. Nothing is coming of it.
