Same area and seems to be Clearing out here now. I Tried to send the kids back to their rooms but I think I’m stuck w them tonight.

Lots of thunder and lightning that I can see from Old Town Alexandria, but not much rain or wind—yet.

I wonder if this one is going to bypass us.

It woke me up around 3 in MoCo and it's been scary since then. Still raining now but the worst of it seems to be over.

Same. I almost called my mom! Then I realized I’m 45 with 4 kids. I AM the mom. So we went to basement!

Myself, husband, 2 kids, and two dogs are all awake.

The thunder and lightning seems to be starting to taper down a little now in Vienna.
