You must not understand what alienation is. Alienation is when one parent psychologically manipulates a child to damage their relationship with the other parent. You’re thinking of abandonment.

Judges generally won’t care if you stay in a hotel for a couple days. Weeks, sure, but if a couple days prevents exposing the kids to conflict they don’t really care.

Not sure where you’re getting the bender thing from.

But alienation is usually considered a very big deal, so if you have kids, I suggest you think twice before doing it. My mom lost custody in part because she went on a large alienation campaign with us.

I don't withhold sex when we're having a disagreement because that would be punishing myself. Anyone who withholds doing things for their family around the house/helping with the kids etc. because of a disagreement is a selfish child.
