I'm still waiting to hear if my kid can pack nuts and peanuts, so for now a bento box with banana bread muffins, berries, a mini cucumber, and a homemade yogurt smoothie pouch. I'm going for highly palatable and easy to eat because sure he'll be tight on time

Our school said that hail, lightning, freezing temps will have kids eating inside. Light rain will not. Fleet has lots of covered areas that allow for more flexibility.

Has your schools said how long eating outside will be allowed? Ours said until the weather is undesirable. What the heck is that?

You may be able to get an accommodation under a 504 plan.

This is OP. DD has coordination issues, that's why we are concerned. She also suffers from intestinal issues so we have to make sure she is able to eat properly. We don't know what the lunch plans are in school. Admittedly, we may be overly cautious but it can be daunting for her.
