Not necessarily concurrent, but recorded videos of class lectures, office hours to ask questions of teachers, and so on. In middle and high school, will teachers share notes or ask classmates to do so. I'm just thinking of how far behind kids will fall if the get the homework but no interaction for potentially a week or more of school, especially if it happens multiple times throughout the year.

I've submitted that question for the Town Hall.

Good, I would love to know this answer too.

I think this is the biggest question in the majority of people's minds at this point. Noticeably absent from the FAQs)

What was the answer?

Asynchronous, and some teacher check-ins. Basically like in pre-Covid times if your child had to miss two weeks of school due to illness or travel.

Yep, sounds like it will be part of a county employee vax mandate.

This along with weekly testing for students and staff is great news. I think this is one of the better town halls in terms of information given. I feel very optimistic for the school year (I'm a teacher/parent)

The weekly tests are opt in at Kenmore.

They said they will also do them in school

You can do the consent form here https://www.apsva.us/school-year-2020-21/health-safety/covid-19-testing/

So you just show up?

I thought they said that they would test in school? The Kenmore site will still be operational though if your child misses the weekly testing day, and for virtual students.

What are you mad about now?

+1 Also no, none of the people speaking tonight were elected.

Um... and...? It was a Town Hall with the superintendent and staff.

You can't recall people who aren't elected
