Want a sicko. In no way, shape or form is what went down even remotely okay in a marriage.
Put on your flammable gear and deflect the major gaslighting happening here.

If your husband and the single woman did not know each other or were only acquaintances, it's strange they would want to go on vacation and share a house with a person they barely know. That part is suspicious. But if he was cheating, wouldn't it had been easier to drop off all of the kinds at the grandparents and then spend his four days "alone" while secretly meeting the woman at her hotel/rental house?Anonymous wrote:My husband who has more holidays than I do, had planned to rent a house with our kids and some friends in the State where he grew up while I had to go home. Then his friends canceled and only a single woman, a friend of his friends was able to come with her kid.
I was not too thrilled about the idea of him spending a week with a single woman but I am not controlling and I let it go.
Then, he was supposed to leave our kids with their grandparents and spent four days alone, something he had talked about for months. At the last minute, he changed his plan and instead of spending these 4 days alone, he had decided to keep one kid with him leaving the others with the Grandparents. While talking with our kid, I learned that my husband had “forgot” to mention that he had also invited the single woman and her kid with him to that other place. His explanation was that suddenly, he did not need to spend 4 days alone and that he had done it to please our kid who likes the other kid so much and wanted to spend more time with the kid.
My husband is telling me that I am crazy and that he did nothing wrong with this woman. I don’t believe a word of it. Should I believe him?

I should have also said I used this method to trap my Cheating ex. I used the evidence collected by top PIs, which was embarrassing to him and potentially detrimental to his career, to force a very generous settlement. It would never have happened had I not backed off, played it cool, and let him dig his own hole. So glad I got that advice and heeded it.

No you should not believe him. First, his friends didn't cancel, they were never coming. Second, the trip alone was never a trip alone - it was with the other woman. Then she was unable to leave her kid, so he brought one of his own along to keep hers company. Then he lied by omission. He spent a week and a half with another woman and he's trying to tell you that you're crazy? LOL, that's a good one.

Unfortunately, you can't trust friends in these situations. know of one to many situations where a husband or wife was cheating and friends and family had no problem covering for them.
