But so is tall and fat.
Tall women carry the weight better in old age. Short women turn into weebles when they get fat in old age.

I am shorter than 5'2" and I've never had difficulty finding people to date. My husband is over 6' and sometimes he has to reach things for me, and I do have to ask him to slow down while he is walking, but other than that, it's the same as anyone else.
