Absolutely, but it is clinging to a past style and roster regardless of the outcome this has not been a dominate tournament and you can't even bring yourself to admit the fact.

Frankly, this Olympics should have been the coming out party for the next generation of players. I don't really care if we win Olympic Gold or not. We didn't the last time either. This should have been used to look forward not past.

Now you have two short years to get a roster ready for the next WC and you've got no idea what you've got because a bunch of 39 year olds are still playing.

Losing in penalty kicks to a team that is backing into the medal is worse than backing into the medal round via pks.
