How is this possible? I wake up at 7:45 and am still in bed by 9 pm.
Do you think you really need almost 11 hrs of sleep per night? Sounds a bit lazy unless there is some medical reason
It sounds amazing but you have to choose : 8 hours of sleep and a workout or 11 hours of sleep. No wrong choice but there’s only so many hours in the day. Most of us have the same time we just make different choices about using the time.
Why? I sleep 8 hours and workout an hour every day. I work FT and have kids. The timing of the workout changed but I always get it done.

Now I love early mornings, so quiet. I do t always work out first thing in the morning, but love it when I do.
I do have a quick cup of coffee before the workout.

I wake up, throw on workout clothes, spash face, brush teeth, head to gym (or basement). The less time you spend putzing about in the very early morning pre-workout, the better you will feel. It is like ripping the bandaid off. You to wake up and get right to it, otherwise your motivation will start to wain and you will come up with things to need to do in the morning instead.
Morning people are so fascinating to me. This morning, my cat woke me up from a dream at 8:30 and I needed to make and drink a K-cup in order to shake off enough cobwebs to make a pot of real coffee. Now that I've had my 3 cups and my oatmeal, I'll do my "morning workout" on the treadmill at 11. I cannot roll out of bed and function at all.
(On weekdays, I sleep from 12:30 or 1 am until 7:30 or 8, work from 9-5:30 or 6, and do my exercise in the evening (an hour sometime between 7:30 and 10). I don't think I've gone to bed at 9 pm since I was 7 or 8 years old.
OP here, and yes I totally need coffee. It also helps get the colon going![]()
I'd much rather wake up at like 6-7 and run at 8-9am, but that's not possible due to Life and also the weather in the summer. I need to be indoors by 7:30am, even on a Sunday - it's way too hot outside by then.
I don't remember the last time I slept past 7:30 am. I think it was 6 years ago when I had the flu.
