I’m 40+ and wish I had done this sooner. I highly recommend Dr Naderi. I had a big hump and asked for a completely new nose without providing any pictures. He gave me a great nose that suits me.

This + low sodium for at least 2 weeks before and after to help with puffiness/swelling.

I fractured my nose from a bad fall in my late 30's (now 43) which resulted in a bad deviated septum. I "added on" a small rhino to shave down a bump on my nose bridge. Best money I ever spent. It looks very natural. I went to a top facial plastic surgeon in San Francisco.

For recovery, the first 48 hours were pretty bad--not painful, just uncomfortable because you cannot breathe out of your nose due to nose rods to hold everything in place. Once got those out about a week later, and I felt pretty much back to normal. It was hard to sleep with just breathing out of your nose. Get a major humidifier because your mouth will be very dry.

Yes I wish I had done mine sooner. Got rid of the bump, and love my profile now. I recovered over a weekend.

OP here, this is pretty much my thinking as well.

My cousin always hated her nose, everyone told her it looked fine.

She got a nose job a few years ago and now everyone says she looks so much younger. She looks SO MUCH better, of course I won't tell her that. LOL.

So, yes if you hate your nose and can afford it, go for it!

I agree with this 100%. I also was teased as a teen for my nose, and it is objectively prominent. But... I'm fine with it? I have always had plenty of interest from romantic partners, I have a successful career, and I feel like I have grown into it a bit as I've gotten older. I think that nose jobs make a big difference on faces that are otherwise exceptionally beautiful, but they do not make as big of a difference for more ordinary faces.

Use a plastic surgeon that only performs facial surgeries. Specifically, an ENT who specializes in plastic surgery.

I don’t like Bella Hadids nose job. And Ashley’s Tisdales is a mess.

But LeLe Pons had an amazing nose job. Seriously, her surgeon did really good work. I think Ellie Brown from Love Island UK had a great nose job too (if you google her before photos).

I think nose jobs are one of the most difficult surgeries. Even different skin thickness can produce various results. Some people I know irl ended up with good results, but most looked the same as before or a bit worse.

I actually think Jessica is way more attractive and she was so beautiful in her early 20s. I regret my nose job so much more whenever I see beautiful women like her with stronger noses and features. Instead of soft flat “feminine” features that somehow made me look plainer and uglier. I always love the look of blonde hair with light brown eyes though. I think it’s one of the prettiest combos

I was never even ridiculed for my nose. I think I have BDD and mental illness because of abusive parents. When I complained about my nose at school this random boy in the grade above me called me crazy and said I had a tiny nose.

I think this is why my surgery results were so unfavorable. Maybe it’s just my mental illness. Cause I already had a small nose to begin with, and after surgery my nose is way too tiny and fake looking. It looks to small for my face and I hate how wide it looks now the cartilage from my tip is gone. Pointy tips make the nose look more flared when you smile. And a flat nose bridge changes the appearance of the eyes.

Everyone tells me I look “normal” and fine, but I feel botched and ugly

I feel like I became much uglier from the front after my nose job. It really destroyed my mental health and made me much more obsessive about my appearance. I think my side profile looks better, but my front is worse (and I notice this is common with Caucasian rhinoplasties). I had surgery when I was 19. I’m planning on having a revision before I turn 30.
