yes, even if she had no explanation at all everyone deserves a second chance. Here she had a pretty good explanation. So my advice is to do it. (Remember someday you may need someone else to give you a second chance, and karma is a b*tch). I hope it works out for you, good luck!

You just don't know OP if situation is like she isn't over her ex versus the ex isn't over her. Nobody on DCUM knows. So just give her a chance. I say go for it!

She may be the type that requires, or desires less communication than you. That said, she already showed you that her ex baggage will come before you if you get into a relationship.
She couldn't respond to you because she was texting with the ex all weekend, while ignoring you? She isn't done with the ex yet. Not to where he is out of the picture.
