100% agree. Our nanny like number 1 was very set in her ways and made decisions contrary to what she knew we wanted because she had always made them that way. Our younger nanny has much more flexibility and has been a breath of fresh air.
OP, it’s clear from your posts that you like number 2 better. Go with your gut.
