Blue and white will be very out of style in 10 years. I would pick a wood stain cabinet. Google trends, hop on newest one. Maybe a light color. not sure.

white is boring and shows soil. Navy will be pretty. Use brass hardware. get shaker style cabinets for a look that won't go out of style. keep the lines clean. good luck

Um... all white is not THE THING. THE THING now is dark (navy or green) cabinets. It will last for 3 years, go away for 10, then come back. So if you can wait to sell in 13 years instead of 10, you'll be in great shape OP!

This. Even if you time it perfectly and blue cabinets are back in style when you sell in 10 years, the rest of the finishes won't be. There will be new trends for counter tops, lighting, floors, etc. +1 for DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!
We got Cambria Berwyn with our medium gray/blue island and love it. It's a unique quartz color mixture that we couldn't find anywhere else.
