I don't believe any police officer anywhere in the world, sober or coked up would tell someone to hand them their weapon.

Note his boss said "his service to our country will not be forgotten" He didn't say how great his "service" was, just that it won't be forgotten.

What was she doing out that late at night with him? My first thought was that he made a move on her and she shot him in self defense but it doesn't add up that a young mom of two - married - would randomly be out with a guy in the middle of the night in Belize. Where was her husband at the time?

NY Post--a rag, but good for stories like this--says she's Canadian, not American. She didn't admit to killing him until the police said they would charge her for using cocaine. Apparently, normal punishment for a crime like this is a fine?!!!
