The 2022 Midnight team is very strong - they've had a consistent core over many years and a solid coach, but that is it. History is one thing. Present time is another and presently, they are taking a nose dive. And as a PP said, why did they remove all of their coaching (and even team!) information from their website? It's sketchy at a time when basically every other team in the DMV at least lists the names.
Why go to a program that puts your kid into a position to lose by multi-digit goals nearly each and every game? Those Carolina teams are just a money grab at this point. And this is on the leadership, not even coaches, for allowing the teams to be in this position. At least most other clubs treat their 'B' teams with a little decency.
Losing more than winning is one thing. Losing they way they do is another. It is not fair to those kids and parents to constantly travel just to go 0-xxx and maybe score 5-6 goals all tournament.
Sadly the midnight ‘22 team is no longer strong. They have fallen apart - word is the uncommitted girls have quit and the team is in disarray. Live love lax was a disaster.
Not sure if you know what you are talking about. 2022 MC was not at that tournament.

From what the understanding is, Stars is holding a 2nd date for tryouts sometime in July. They will communicate who made what Team after that 2nd tryout and after the Tournaments are done. That was at least the current plan.
Is the second tryout a call back/team placement or a whole new tryout?

They haven’t had tryouts yet. Hmmm
I meant over the last few years. I know a goalie went a couple of years ago and I am hearing a few more intend on trying out. My point was simply to figure out which made more sense logistically.
Live in MoCo why not stay in MoCo? Club intent from the get go was to give a place for local girls to develop.
I would love to but where would they go?
MC Elite. MS program develops girls to be impact players in HS. Great coaches. Was founded to elevate lax in MoCo. Most clubs were all founded to support area/even certain high schools, that is why the traveling out of county is baffling. Great recruiting history, but like other posters said, club is only one piece of the puzzle.
Been there, done that.....no thanks. Great coaches? Every coach at another organization currently was once at MC Elite. The leadership there is apparently not someone coaches want to work with. Who is coaching over there these days? I can't find it on the website.
