Not my taste, but to each their own!

Also did not appeal to me and I’m a huge fan of fries on sandwiches after attending Pitt.

To steal a turn of phrase from the article, that place is to food as chicken fingers are to fingers.

This looks like a riff on a mitaillette sandwich. The article below show the filling in a baguette but I used to get mine in a wrap.

Meh. We had them a couple years ago from a place called O Tacos next to Les Halles in Paris. We were tired of eating out and wanted to just eat in our room in the AC because it was 95F. Its fast food. It's more panini than taco for sure. I'm not even sure why it's called a taco. Americans do fast food much better.

I just had Korean corn dogs with my teenager. Fusion fast food. There’s obviously a trend there.

We have one of these French taco shops in Brussels. It only opened up in the past few years. I would not even think of trying one because I don't like most melted cheeses or cream-based sauces -- too much grease. Sadly, we still have no Chipotle (nearest one in Paris), but Dunkin Donuts is finally in town.

That looks like a Carne Asada burrito with fries in it.

I don't put french fries or garlic in my quesadillas.

Now I’ve got to try this at home.

I've had shwarma sandwiches like this with French fries inside and then grilled when I was studying Arabic at a university in Jordan. It was popular student food.
