Arlington win at all costs. Seen their ECNL boys play on their lower clubs. Great program but so dirty, to win at all costs
They can be accused of a lot of things, but I have not seen them play dirty other than a few players, which is true for every team and club. Some clubs clearly coach it; there is no way that kind of behavior is encouraged on boys ECNL teams that I have seen.
At the older age groups (11 v 11) most clubs don’t allow there top players to play down in regular season games. Accept Arlington. But yea in 7v7 and 9v9 a lot of clubs do it.

I despise Loudoun for a host of reasons, but have not seen them, or any other local ECNL club, use unrostered guest players. I agree that Loudoun and McLean have rosters which are far too big.
And this will continue until everyone realizes that ECNL isn't the only good league around... EDP has just as good if not better. GAL too new to tell.
EDP is not as good. Even for boys there is quite a gap between EDP and ECNL, and the gap is larger for girls.

“Getting ECNL” appropriately sounds like an infectious disease called talent envy. Of course FCV also sounds like an infectious disease. All of them come from an underlying morbidity - being an upper-middle-class girls soccer parent.
