OP- my kids play travel sports and so the hotels often have pools. Parents take turns supervising/making sure the kids are being jerks to other families.

As far as the other kids, I never saw anyone come check on them in the time we were there. I was more concerned about someone getting hurt and the kids panicking/not knowing what to do. I tried to melt in the background as much as I possibly could - I wasn’t trying to curb the play/fun in any way.
