It’s much easier for each person to do their own laundry. Now house cleaners are a worthwhile expense!
If you can teach my 2 yr old and newborn to do their own laundry I’ll pay *you* $30/week

We use Happy Nest. They come pick up a bag of clothes, towels, and sheets off our porch and bring them back clean and folded. But Happy Nest isn't paying me, I'm sure there are plenty of other options.
Since Covid, we don't have a weekly cleaner and she used to do laundry too. I take mine to bubbles in the Wilston center in...falls church maybe. It's on the arlington line. It's a dollar a pound and for my family of 4, that's about 50$ every two weeks. I continue to do sheets and towels b/c they are fast but all that other stuff --> Bubbles.
Husband, who does no laundry objects. However, he is also...not observant so doesn't realize that's what I'm doing.

OMG no. If I were going to pick some tasks for DH to take over it wouldn't be something I can pay $30/week to outsource. Vacation planning maybe...

That’s our most dreaded household chore.

Um what chores fit the cost/benefit calculation for your DH?
