I like Benjamin and Daniel together

Gregory is underused. we would have considered Gregory had we had a boy. i also like James. All of your choices are solid.

My 16 year old is a Gregory and we’ve met only one or two others over the years. He goes by Gregor.

I like Daniel. The boy next door to me growing up in the 1970s was named Daniel Nathan. But I think the names hold up. How in the world I remember his middle name decades later is a real mystery, though.

We went through the exact same struggle a year ago, and went with James.

Nathan/ Nate is great. I like Daniel too.
Not a fan of Gregory.
Neutral on James.

I like them all but agree with the PPs that prefer Nathaniel to Nathan.

If none of them have any particular significance (family names, etc), I think my favorite is Daniel - I don't know many little Daniels though I do know a few of each of the others. I know more Benjamins under 12 than the other three, it's a name that works in multiple languages and several families chose it for that reason.

They are all great. For once, a list I like. Strangely, I don't LOVE Nathan but the NN Nate overshadows my dislike of the full name.

Deciding between...
1) Nathan
2) Daniel
3) Gregory
4) James

I like Daniel. It goes well with Benjamin. Please to those who want to respond that "siblings names shouldn't go together" please don't repeat that here.

All great names. I like Gregory with Benjamin but you can't go wrong with any of them. If nicknames bother you- think about Dan/Danny, Greg, Nate and see which annoyed you least.

James is the most popular of the 4. I like James, and popularity doesn't bother me, but to pick it over Nathan or Daniel because Nathan and Daniel are too common is a little weird.

Interesting--I know no one under the age of 40 named James. But lots of Nathans and Daniels. But my kids are a little older so maybe James had a big pick-up in the last few years.
