Last year, the board told Episcopal that either the medical director or the head of school had to leave. The medical director ended up leaving...she had her own practice and was working at several other schools anyway...she handled a lot of situations poorly, which is why she was asked to leave and why the students were mad and did that prank. Obviously, not the most mature response, but remember the students are (teenage) high schoolers and had serious issues with this woman.
Did her husband leave too? That would be sort of awkward to live in a house on campus after being asked to leave!
