No but others should face the reality that they aren't "elite."
The issue is that you don’t know what elite is.
You really think that NOVA has 5 teams worth of girls and boys?

Hmm. Jeff cup is less than a 2 hour drive?
the competition was horrendous.
But no local club managed to dominate, so maybe this is the right level for our local clubs?
Why do people offer opinions with a clear lack of knowledge?
What lack of knowledge? I pointed out that no local club dominated the Jeff Cup. Isn't that correct? If you disagree then please tell me which local club dominated.
Don’t bother with the poster(s) who perceives any criticism of the local area clubs as an attack and responds with the “you lack knowledge”, “don’t know anything” BS responses. This area is very average and anyone who knows the game and has been around understands that.
Actually this area has tremendous talent and is considered a hotbed for youth girls soccer. In fact, this area is very far from average. So again, you do lack knowledge. You don’t even understand that in good areas no one should be dominating.
There was an all out war to control this area which resulted in now 5 ECNL and 2 GA in NOVA. Point to an area in this country that has that. And if you say SoCal, you make my point.
Different poster. Based on my observations, this area can only support about two truly elite girls teams per age group. If you think that’s a “hotbed” more power to you. To me, 5 ECNL and 2 GA teams in this area is more aptly termed a “hot mess.”

Another Poster. Totally agree! but a consolidation of "Elite" teams means less $$$ to go around for the others.
