Hogan has been terrible at vaccine rollout.
Completely agree. East MD should have their site but at the same time with most populous counties. Hogan made a bad political move. I thought he was smarter than that.

All the MD vaccine hunter FB groups have no mentions of it.
Like others, I don't want to drive to Salisbury. I'd prefer the 2 dose but I guess I could drive to Hagerstown for the one dose. It's one hour away, so not brutal.
I just feel like all of us who chose Germantown got screwed over and I'm pissed.

Call and see if you can change your preference. Everyone I know who put Greenbelt or Six Flags as their first choice is getting appointments. You can also go to the M&T stadium in Baltimore as a walk-up or call them directly for an appointment.

I am tempted, but if I have to go to Salisbury then I will just go to rehoboth de and get shot there and check on 2nd home. I really don’t want to drive 3 hours to de for vaccine. Why is fairfax county so slow? High population I guess.
Wow, if I lived in Fairfax and had a second home in Delaware I would’ve been to Salisbury already. just go on a Friday, get the shot, keep going, and then spend the weekend there. Repeat three weeks later. It’s not exactly on the way but it’s pretty close. We have a second home in New Jersey and got vaccinated there a month ago.
This what I did, though I came from Bethesda, got the shot in Salisbury (in and out in approximately 17 minutes, including the 15 minute post-shot observation period), and continued on to Bethany, which is 50 minutes away. I spent my money on fries and frozen custard in DE, so no joy for Hogan. To the prior PP, Deleware was not vaccinating non-residents as of a couple weeks ago, so double-check that before deciding.
Maybe that is what I will do then. Does Salisbury vaccinate on Saturday?

I have been getting/expect to get radio silence. How are people snagging individual appointments at any particular mass vax site? What are my chances of getting a walk-in vaccine?

Phase 3 was just eligible today so it will probably take a couple of days. The key is to select the sites with availability. I selected Hagerstown and Salisbury and got notified right away. If I'd selected Germantown and six flags I'd probably still be waiting.

Preregistering has done nothing for me but if you check mdvax.info or even just call the M and T site you might find something.
It’s a stupid effing system though that has all of us calling checking 15 different websites
Go to the mass vax site - https://massvax.maryland.gov/ - enter in Salisbury or Hagerstown or Greenbelt or M & T. Know a ton of folks who got J & J at Hagerstown over the weekend.
