Surely sounds like it. Wasn't mentioned in the communication. But this tidbit is telling: "Through this alliance, MYS will expand the ECNL talent pool with SYC elite players competing for positions on the twelve (six Boys’ and six Girls’) ECNL teams."
If the best SYC boys will be going to ECNL then they've already written off MLS Next.

Says nothing about MLS Next.
