Based on PPs, she can already tell us - guaranteed negative. I too love Mexico - we've gone annually for the last decade - and I miss it. But we had one medical experience (daughter stepped on glass and needed stitches) and my Mexican BIL recommended we get steristrips from a pharmacy rather than going to a hospital. No way would I want to be down there now and maybe need an ER for Covid or otherwise. We'll be back, just not until we're all vacced.

I would not. We had a medical emergency on a trip to Mexico and the whole experience was just awful. The health care is terrible.

I would go on a domestic trip with unvaxxed kids though.

I love Cabo and have been multiple times. Las Ventanas is really nice, but I just can't imagine spending all that money to go, and then being so constrained in what I'm willing to do. But I get the decision, especially if dropping $20-50K on a vacation where you can enjoy the weather and some nice food, but not do much else, is not a big deal.


So las ventanas will give you forged papers to fly home if you get Covid there? Nice. I love Lv, and I do think it would be very safe, the villas are basically only three walls. I’d think kids would be bored to tears there.

No, OP do you want medical care in Mexico if something happens? Given the new varients, I would not.

You will get many responses saying H yeah, of course, blah, blah, blah. For me, this is not only about covid directly. A friend took her kids recently one broke arm had to go to the emergency room, guess what that's where the kids(teens & college-age) got covid. And it's not pretty, particularly for the college student, who covid is awful.

No one can decide for you.
