My nom for most annoying is Jonathan Bennett (sorry, this is Food Network, not HGTV, but they are essentially the same company). It's like watching a overstimulated child being hyped on candy and soda, then pushed to their limits and let go. So happy when he stopped hosting.

Nate and Jeremiah was a TLC show pre-covid.
Rehab Addict (Nicole Curtis) ended in 2014. There were two spin off attempts, but nothing in the last two years.

Jenn Todryk’s hyperactive, frenetic personality, which is so over the top , replete with weird voice inflections and goofy faces, is almost unbearable to watch. I have never met a person in real life who behaves this way. I feel sorry for her husband and children who have to live with this hyper manic gal.

Her hair is way too long. And she is indeed very annoying. I like the idea of renos that don't involve a gut job because mostly people need design and arrangement guidance not a new house or a new interior. But she's got terrible taste.

She's growing on me. While the cut-off shorts kill me because they are completely inappropriate, what she does with a no demo reno is good. I like seeing some pretty remarkable transformations that are done without the drama of a 'down to the studs' reno. So her show is growing on me. She doesn't do crazy things with her design, she actually listens to her customers, she pulls off a pretty project that her customers like, and she treats her employees nicely. Those are all big positives. I also like how with every single show she encounters something new in terms of a no demo redesign and I can pick up a hint. So I will always watch No Demo Reno if it is on and I have time.

Agree on all of the above. Agree re: divine design- Candice Olson is still all my DH talks about in terms of design. He brings her up every damn time love it or list it comes on and Hillary Farr butchers another home.

POS shows we miss/would love to bring back as comedies:

'designing for the sexes' which was a stereotypical hoot to watch and fun to mute it and voiceover our own insulting design ideas/comments.

'room by room' which was also horrific and dated even at the time. Matt and Sheri, the hosts, both wore fugly 80s cosby sweaters and mom jeans with 12 inch zippers that went to their nipples. So cringe. Every time DH or I f*ck something up or come up with a bad design idea we debrief it as Matt and Sheri and torture each other. So enjoyable.

I LOVE No Demo Reno and Jenn Todryk. She Is the first "influencer" who just straight up influences me, I admit it. I love watching her IG stories every night before bed. I'm 43 and childless by choice and yet I freaking love her kids (and dog). I truly trust her endorsements and have found so many useful products through her. And I love her style and think she works absolute magic on those houses.

She always seems to lose money! When you read up on the homes, she always seems to overspend.

Yes. Cannot stand him.

I have mixed feelings about him. He has the same schtick in every episode, but sometimes seems to develop real rapport with the lottery winners. And I like what a random assortment of humanity they are. Good Bones irks me. I find the daughter incredibly annoying, but kind of like the mom.

Apparently the mom is a real b---h in real life but Mina is really sweet, according to locals. Funny how they seem to switch personalities on tv.
