What do you want to do? Is she with her parents?

OP hasn’t said there are kids involved (or the genders of the spouses).

I'm 1) telling what I would do and 2) yeah, the gender. I just am guessing to draw OP out.

I know they are staying with family but I don't know their address. I've thought about changing the locks, maybe going to see a divorce lawyer....

When someone does this sort of thing what is the appropriate response??

Angry about what? You? Something major?

Angry about needing a break and see family?

Yeah, funny how OP avoids answering this question.

OP hasn’t answered a single question. She/he knows why the spouse took off and is at fault.

Do not worry about looking bad.

If they are not willing to communicate w/you, then by all means do what you feel you need to do.

Personally I would consider contacting a divorce attorney.
This afternoon for sure.

Your spouse left almost 3 weeks ago and you haven't spoken to them at all? What precipitated this? I cannot imagine my husband leaving after an argument and being out of communication for more than a couple HOURS. A couple weeks? If you don't know where they are staying, how do you know they are okay? How do you know they are even alive?

That you are "maybe" thinking of talking to a lawyer after your spouse leaving and not speaking to you for almost 3 weeks tells me that your relationship is quite broken anyway. If my husband left our home and simply didn't respond to my messages, unless I was 100% sure that he was safe, I'd b filing a missing persons report. If I thought he was staying with family, I'd be calling everyone I have any information for at all. I would have started all of that at week ONE, not going into week three.

This speaks to OP being a cheater because if OP didn't 'do' anything and spouse just hightailed it out of there---most would have done something by now.
