She spends a lot of time online now talking to friends and playing games. Before the pandemic, she was very active and busy with sports, theatre and music. I feel it will be a struggle to return to normal. She doesn’t want to go back to in-person school at all.

Outside is totally safe (I think masks outside are pointless) but even if you don't there is no reason why they cant be living life in a mask outside. My kids have been playing sports, hanging out with friends etc throughout this whole time. Just not inside which frankly I love because they don't tear up the house. Win win. I feel horrible for these kids that have had no interaction all this time. What are you all doing to these kids? Turn off the news and get out!!!
Why do you assume kid are trapped inside? Mine are inside for school and activities. They go on walks/bike rides with parents and one sport (that they are heavily distanced in). Just because you aren't teaching your kids good behavior during a pandemic, doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't. Mine have very little free time between activities and private music lessons (all their choice). Maybe your kids need to get out and outside to get away from you? Why do you assume no interaction? You can do interaction that isn't in person. Be creative.

DP. PP, you are one of the most annoying human beings posting on this site. Honestly. No one cares anymore. Go away.
