In other words, is MLS only granting SYC and Alexandria two age groups (u13 and u14) or next year will it expand those clubs to three age groups (u13, u14 and u15). The former DA had clubs that did not have all age groups - Arlington and McLean were two such clubs. So is MLS going to handle like former DA?

In this region Bethesda, SYC and Alexandria are playing against Philly Union Academy , New York Red Bulls Academy , PA Classics Academy, FC Delco and other Northern teams along with competitions against each other. Looks like a lot of traveling up North.
Thanks. This is what I was looking for.
Hard pass. We do not want that kind of driving for games in 8th grade.
the 2007 SYC and Alexandria teams will drop the MLS Next for next year. They will go back to EDP.
Is this confirmed? I heard that they would remain.
Lets assume it is confirmed since they are running 07 tryouts. Would any 07 players leave an ECNL team for a MLS next team, knowing they might only play in that league for 1 year ? Would the ECNL team take the player back after that ?

You're blind but that's ok.
A club that has a racist name shouldn't have its members dishing out insults rooted in ableism.

I have a 2008- 8th grader next year.
Where do you live? We can tell you the best 08 boys team near you that has minimal travel. MLSNext and ECNL teams would be out if you don't want to travel far.
Arlington.
Or maybe Alexandria's second team, that plays in NCSL
So if you don't want games far away, I would pick VYS for 08 boys. Arlington ECNL is better and Alexandria mlsnext is even better, but both of those would require travel to a lot farther away games. VYS plays in a league where there are two teams in Richmond, one near Williamsburg, and all the rest are in NOVA.
