This is sad. I have always found St John special because it isn’t crowded. Francis bay is also beautiful, I hope still it has the feeling of being untouched.
It's crazy because *none* of the beaches we went to on St. Thomas had this problem. Even at Magen's on a weekend, if you went to the side of the beach that's farthest from the bar, you had tons of space to be safe. Other beaches on St. Thomas were far less crowded than Magen's, and we really enjoyed it, and it was far less expensive. St. John is just mobbed right now.
