Professional adults do not complain about "incorrect grammar" when someone is speaking. Virtually everyone makes grammatical mistakes when speaking.

This seems like very high turnover to me. Is it?
J-H’s principal was horrible so his departure can only be seen as a good thing. Add that Polk’s principal is retiring at the end of the year.
JH was unaccredited for years and nothing has changed except the state lowered the bar for accreditation, which actually undermines the credibility of any improvement. The principal, superintendent, and school board at a minimum should have been dumped for that.

Sounds like the Glasgow community may not be as high maintenance as Maury, but if he is merely adequate there will be complaints because he’s following a superstar.
It’s FCPS. Jesus himself could he principal of an FCPS school and the parents would b*tch.

The scuttlebutt is that he refused to cave to pressure from a person/family with a specific agenda. The person was crude in its tactics but that is no great surprise knowing that particular family. This is about race and an arrogant display of classism.
We have one of these at our neighboring ACPS ES.
I think I can make a reasonable guess as to who the Maury person is and I don't blame him for moving on.
Is this kind of entitled behavior exclusive to Alexandria? When I tell people who don't live here about our school's resident pushy/bully parent, they can't the level and extremes this person goes to.
Well now we need more info on the scuttlebutt. What was the conflict and how did this parent/family exert influence?
