VW--it was in the shop constantly. I loved that car, but damn it was a piece of crap.

Porsche Cayenne. Was always having little things go wrong. Stitching on the steering wheel unraveling, constantly needing brake work every 10k miles, expensive oil changes. Etc

‘04 Honda Covic hybrid. A problem every three months after it hit 70k miles. Independent garages wouldn’t touch it or ran to Daddy Dealer for everything. Multiple breakdowns including one with my wife and five year old.

Finally got rid of it in 2014 after a HVAC fix failed while pulling out of the dealer. (The dealer was pricey too.)

For me there are two:

1974 Dodge Dart (sport). It blew an engine at 40K/threw a rod. Junked at 60K. Looked nice, but was a disaster mechanically. (I was just a kid)

2012 VW GTI: there were gremlins in the electrical system/in two years of ownership, I had to be towed to the dealer 6 times.
