We take a good amount of road trips and I really like the minivan for those. Not sure that I’ll want to take the 10 year old van on road trips (at some point I would start to worry about reliability), but having two minivans seems silly.

Pulling up and everything fits in is just life changing. Sliding doors for groceries are awesome. Going on a roadtrip and being able to pack whatever we want is great too. I also love being able to fit our parents in the car too when we go out instead of taking two cars.
I was 100% in agreement until Honda and Toyota made their latest minivans to wide to fit through my garage door. How short sighted of them. That is 100% the reason I no longer drive a minivan. I probably would have driven one forever.
Pro tip- if you upgrade to the elite Odyssey, the side mirrors tilt in automatically so you can make it in the garage.
We were just debating changing from 2 1-car garages to a 2 car garage on our house so that the odyssey would fit better. More angry at home builder than I am at Honda
