They also repeat FoxNews words they don’t understand. Vast, for one.

I actually like Biden. I hate his wife, his VP and his son.

Please tell me what you hate about Dr. Jill, I am seriously curious.

Smart women scare the daylights out of Trumpsters.

I mean clearly Trump holds some blame, everyone does.

As a moderate Democrat, I’ve grown absolutely furious over how divided this country has become. Everyone is to blame - Trump, Republicans at large, Biden, Democrats at large, BLM, white supremacists, everyone - our Country is tearing itself apart and instead of trying to bridge the gap neither side has any intention of doing anything but attack the other side.

For four years we have gone through this toxic mess. I’ve refused to talk about politics it got so bad, and I work vaguely in the politics world, have a degree in it, and used to love the back and forth. I talk to my relatives in West Virginia and its all about the commie democrats and how Trump is the best president since Lincoln, all that stuff. My neighbors here in DC and it is all how Trump is basically Hitler v. 2.0, how they wish he would just die already, how there is literally nothing he did worthy of praise or respect, how he is a racist bigot.

It is all a big mess, and it all contributes to where we are now. Neither side is willing to give the other a chance, and neither side will stop the bullshit name calling and anger. So people get riled up. For months and months we had people rioting in the street burning police precincts and destroying thousands of already struggling businesses because they were riled up by the left and its messages. Then we had people on the right break into the Capital for the same damn reason, just with the party switched.

Let me ask you this: do you think the Capital would have been stormed had in mid-November when it was clear there were questions over the election democrats and republicans both came out and started a committee to openly and fairly investigate these claims? If they healed bipartisan hearings to listen to what evidence there was and judge it on its merits? If they came out and spoke, together, about how important it was that they consider all sides and ensure everyone left our elections were open and fair? I think the results would be different. You would have Biden as our President, with a much more unified country and with support of Congress. But instead, we called anyone who questioned the election a ‘Q-Anoner’ which we defined as some goofy conspiracy group that - as far as I can tell - is just as fictitious as ‘Antifa’ and all the tech companies started banning people left and right just for saying anything about the election.

Then we go through this insane impeachment process, knowing full well it wouldn’t go through. Why not just let the moment pass, and instead take the time to sit down with Republicans and work out a truly bipartisan COVID relief bill that both parties can be happy to support. Yet again, the Democrats were handed the perfect situation to show that we are a party willing to work together with the GOP and be the better party. Biden starting his presidency off not with a sham trial, but instead with a wide ranging, bipartisan bill designed alongside Republicans and Democrats alike to combat the current epidemic would have completely reshaped his presidency.

If you have a law degree, demand a refund.

This is why we can't have nice things.

What legal issues? It's not a legal process?

Sorry. 2nd question mark not intended.

I’m not certain Mitch will be alive in 4 years. However, there will be another Republican who is power hungry and has no conscience, whatsoever, to replace him.

+1, or at least healthy enough for the job.

I’m sure of it. Especially if there is actual election malfeasance that has to be addressed by the Biden administration. This whole situation is so FUBAR. At least it’s predictable. Maybe we will be ready.

So you’re saying that if elections didn’t work the way they’ve always worked, perhaps we’d arrive at different outcomes? Okay, I guess?

Almost to a person (hell, maybe all of them), the handful of illegal ballots cast that authorities have found included votes for Trump. Biden got more votes in every swing state except NC. His win was clear and decisive.
