She would like to play high level college soccer but I don't believe our club has ever produced a player who has played at that level. What does DD need to do to draw attention from college coaches? We have the CCL Showcase this weekend I don't know trust the list since there are DI coaches included but I understand that DI coaches have a Dark Period.
Head over to McLean or BRYC. They have a great track record. Also, after covid- try the individual college ID camps.
We live closer to BRYC than Mclean; will try that. I saw the record isn’t impressive but I’m sure DD will help. Additionaly, ECNL just seems to be more serious of a venue. Our club does nothing to better the girls besides a basic practice and that’s it. Coaches are good, plenty of friends, but it’s more of a social gathering. One of the people running it even has a relative playing for a different club so why shouldn’t we?
If you’re near BRYC, I’d try Metro United as well

And how often does CCL play against CCL New England, especially on the girls side? Nothing is wrong with CCL, it just doesn’t do anything for serious players that are girls (U13 and up).

Man, this person is a moron.

Anonymous wrote:unbiased option here, CCL is not as good as the old DA or even some ENCL, but there is still quality in the league.

Because by the time you hit U15, it’s not a serious program anymore. 7, 8 players at a practice. Half the team prioritizing other sports, activities. C.C.L. is a great environment for players of varying skills and abilities that do not have ambition to play beyond high school.
But if you are a girl and a soccer player, ECNL is the place to be and the GA not far behind it.
This is the same only poster that hates the CCL and keeps posting over and over his/her dislike of the CCL. That is why anonymous posting is useless.
