Public is offering online schooling. It just requires parent participation.
But, what public schools are offering is really lacking in quality. Why should we pay teachers when we can get a better online product from Khan for free?
Defund the schools.

Many of us assign Khan Academy as a supplement for our classes. It was a go to for me last spring when I didn't have much online material.
The (high school) teacher whose class I took over this year always used it as a main source of material.
I would like to point out, however, that the main instructional material consist of Youtube videos, and if a teacher were assigning it now, a lot of parents would be screaming here that it's because the teacher is lazy.

Do you even have kids? Why would you troll this when it’s meant to help other families struggling with DL? Lame.
It’s an ad lol! Go look at all the ad copy. Sites like Khan make tons of $$$ from traffic. This is driving traffic there. It’s not just some mom helping you, she’s selling it.
Um no. This is only true for sites that have ads, like this one. Khan has no ads on their site. But you just keep on being wrong if it makes you feel better about yourself.

Sure, Khan might have the backing of Bill Gates, but let’s have somebody pretend to be a parent fed up with distance learning and put a plug for us on a random message board. Totally worth the trouble.
It’s cheap grassroots publicity. Go to the parenting education board. Hype our product. Y’all are stuck in 1998 where an ad is a page in a magazine.

It MUST be an ad because DL is working just find for my little ones, sweetie, and I refuse to think otherwise or see outside my own narrow perspective. Mmmkay. Tell Bill Gates to take his plug elsewhere we see right through it.
