DS, 18, currently 6 feet (my guess, he will get another inch or two)
DD, 16, 5"6' also maybe another inc
Why was it only me that stopped growing at 14?

Kids: DS 1 has always been tall but not super tall and thin, like 40th weight but 80-90 percentile height. Was born skinny and average height.
DS 2 has always been very tall and athletic/proportional. 95th percentile height and weight as a baby.

Anonymous wrote:It could be neither! My DH is in the 10th percentile for height, and I’m in the 20th. Our son is and always has been in the 5th, and our daughter in the 35th.
Anonymous wrote:In our families it’s dads height. My dad is petite 5’8 and I’m 5’1. His sisters are little like me. My mom is tall as is the rest of her family. Dhs mom is short but he’s tall like his dad (over 6’).
Both of our kids are super tall like dad, both the boy and girl. Still growing up but they’re the tallest of peers and hover in the 95th to 99th percentile.
I read something that with improved nutrition that most kids should be taller than their parents. Not sure what that means though- most people are taller than me.
