16%
It was 16.2 actually.
Loudoun is at 15.3 percent today on the VDH website for positivity rate. Fairfax is 12.1.

After this upcoming 5-day weekend.
Due to the high level of cases and infection rates as described in the risk Matrix there’s no telling when they’ll return.
What’s not forthcoming is the vaccine rollout being slow, unorganized and high numbers of declinations.
So I guess third quarter will be mostly if not all virtual. Who would’ve thought back in August that 75% of the year would be virtual.
Anyone thinks they’ll have virtual until June?

If a lot of teachers are refusing the vaccine, can they be fired?
No but we aren’t refusing it! They literally do not have dates scheduled. They have briefly opened up only a few and they immediately fill. We got a long email from the interim superintendent about issues with supply of vaccines. They don’t know when they’ll have enough. It’s going to take a long time to get us all vaccinated and they ask for patience.
But even if staff refuses it, no they can’t be fired. They would just go in and risk it.

Loudoun is doing it’s own thing though. We are only to be using our “POD.” Other LCPS teachers who tried other sites were told Loudoun badges wouldn’t be accepted there. And they shouldn’t. Our county has its own supply of vaccines and a plan allegedly. I’m not stealing another county’s because mine can’t get it together. Meanwhile another email to sign up was send out today - for everyone I know the link is blank and dead or it goes to a scheduling page where there’s no available dates any day between now and end of February. Cool.
