The French crepe place, Little fountain cafe, and San Marcos in Adam’s Morgan. Plus Cashions for brunch or sit in the lawn chairs at comet liquors and have a bagel and read the paper.
Sometimes head uptown to Colorado Kitchen, or downtown to Corduroy when it was in that weird office building. And Komi before it became a destination restaurant.

Yes! When we didn't mind dancing with "old people." Who were probably in their early 30s, lol.

The patio at Raku, Austin Grill, ECCO Cafe in Old Town (loved their fettucine), Guajillo in Rosslyn, and CHIEF IKE'S MAMBO ROOM!
