Equity is for Black and Hispanic students.
The best money can buy is for white students.

That's what equity means in Arlington co. public schools.


I don't understand this...if you're suggesting that white students all go private, then they are no longer in Arlington Public Schools. That definitely hasn't happened.

Agree, but even the top privates are not academically challenging if your kid is really gifted. Public schools in FCPS or MCPS cater to those kids much better.


Everyone wants to believe their kid is gifted. Just ain't so. FCPS's huge cadre of "gifted" students isn't all that much different than any other school system's top performers - some kids are brighter than others. Always has been, always will be. The word "gifted" is highly overused.
