Then Monday when DH was back at work was a disaster, followed by an even bigger disaster on Tuesday. I'm home 12 hours a day alone with her and a six month old and had a breakdown yesterday and we agreed to stop for a while till I can get more help after January.
Well today she refuses to wear a diaper, just full on meltdown when I try to put one on. The only way I will be able to get her in a diaper is if I hurt her. What do I do? Just keep going? I know she just be really confused and I feel terrible, I'm doing the best I can right now.

She really wasnt ready for pants, but I had to go to work. It didnt go well. But she did pee once on the potty there (a win!) everything else accidents. AND daycare said she has to wear underwear and cant go commando moving forward. Day 6 she goes to daycare in pants and underwear and it was a disaster. All accidents. Big surprise since we are skipping several steps!
I am home with her every thurs-sunday. So tomorrow (day 8), I will obviously go back to block 1. But im so discouraged. Day 1-4 were so hard on me and I feel like we are starting all over. I have to work Mon-Wed and daycare says she has to wear underwear and pants. Will she ever get it with this requirement?? Will I be doomed to do block one every thurs-sunday?

Here is your encouragement: having a toddler who uses the toilet (with insert) to poop is the best thing ever! It also totally cured his withholding and constipation. You’re helping the environment and saving money by not using diapers for the next year. And your child looks so cute in underwear!
Let me add the most important part - it’s easier and far less emotional on the child to potty train before two.
Just your opinion. Most kids can be trained in a matter of days when they are developmental ready for it, even if that is after age 2.
